NEWS - mine and yours
Where have I been and why have I been silent?
I took a break and went to Thailand in January.
I continued my break
and started working on several big projects, one done by March 1st, one done by the 20th AND
I am teaching a course I haven’t taught in over a decade, starting on Monday !
Plus I had longer board meetings, lasting a few days this month. – While hosting a houseguest.
Needless to say, I have been deep diving and not really focusing on my blog and I apologize.
But I am back and looking forward to a lot of new challenges and to change.
How about you? What will your spring and summer bring? Change? Same old? I have news:
A look at my LAST semester at the FHNW, through June, and what I am looking forward to:
New Clients in Zürich and Baden/Brugg/Aarau: To say that I am thrilled about this is a real understatement. I am so pleased to help clients, and their companies grow. I have always tried to “graduate” clients- it is the idea when one coaches for solutions: the clients should come and go- so at this moment, some are going, and some are coming. Each person is such a pleasure to coach and to see the change in their lives.
More EASC Board meetings! – This month we were in Nürnberg and next month we are meeting in Valencia. I appreciate the team and our efforts together.
LAST semester of teaching Business Communication: This semester it is teaching teaching negotiation, intercultural communication and writing, just three classes, in all. http://www.fhnw.ch/wirtschaft
A visit “home”: As an expat, home is where the heart is, and my heart is split between many places(Thailand is certainly one of them), but I was born and raised in the Midwest of the US and will visit friends and family there. Looking forward!
A leadership conference before I head home. Always welcome!
Giving a presentation on Imposter Syndrome for iCafe in Zürich.
Coming up in September: our EASC online conference.
So, my life has a bit more in it this year. What more would you like to do? Sometime in July I will turn down the burner for a few weeks and think a lot, and all the previous work will balance the time of reflection and rest.
So, in August, I wind down with the teaching and will rev up the coaching and supervision! Looking forward to that, too!
Tell me your news!
